With the adoption of the new CSO Law the Law on National Civil Fund Program, the Law on public benefit organizations and the Law on associations are repealed.
The New CSO Law was passed by the Hungarian Parliament on the 5th of December. The draft of the new CSO Law was submitted to the Parliament on the 5th of November and it was decided to adopt the law in urgent proceeding. Accordingly, the general discussion was on the 15th and 16th of November and the detailed discussion took place also in two days (22-23 November).
ECNL has submitted its comments in the course of the general consultation procedure which took place during the summer.
