ECNL along with signatory organisations calls for the Pact for the Future to center human rights and fundamental freedoms.
ECNL, in collaboration with the Association for Progressive Communities, Access Now, Global Partners Digital, and Derechos Digitales, submitted input for the zero draft of the Pact for the Future. The action-oriented outcome document will undergo negotiations and endorsement by UN member countries leading up to and during the Summit of the Future in September 2024. The Summit is a high-level event that aims to bring world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how to deliver a better present and safeguard the future.
