Civic Freedom Monitor
Civic Freedom Monitor provides up-to-date information on legal issues affecting not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) around the world.
Civic Freedom Monitor is run by ECNL’s founder, International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL). At this time, with the contribution of ECNL, ICNL presents reports on 50 countries and 8 multilateral organizations. Each country report provides an overview of key legal issues relating to civic freedom, with a focus on legal barriers to civil society activity and civic freedom. Each multilateral organization report provides an overview of the organization, with a focus on legal issues affecting civic freedom and civic participation.
