Civil society plays a vital role in advancing women’s rights, protecting the environment or promoting accountability. When the space for their work is closing, it is essential that they clearly communicate to the public why their work matters. Under the Catalyst of Change project, a new call offers CSOs grants to help them improve their visibility, effectively engage with journalists and cooperate with other civil society actors on joint awareness raising activities.
As every year, in addition to the financial support, grantees can also benefit from trainings by expert organisations, as well as networking events and knowledge exchange among CSOs from the selected countries. Prior training topics included, among others, the use of EU law to protect civic space, the human rights impacts of AI, with sessions delivered by ECNL.
The current call will support organisations with grants up to 10 000 EUR.
Are you interested? You can apply until 15 September 2025.
The Catalyst of Change project is funded by the European Union. It is implemented by the Netherlands Helsinki Committee in cooperation with ECNL.
