The conference focused on public financing of NGOs and covered all the main issues related to this broad topic, including the various financing forms and mechanisms, procedural issues, central and local level examples.
Together with the Civil Society Development Foundation, Romania ECNL organized an international conference on September 13-14, 2007 in Bucharest. The event was supported by World Learning within the project "Civil Society Strengthening in Romania". The conference was aimed at the Romanian audience (government officials, parliamentarians, NGOs and other stakeholders) by bringing together 12 experts from Western and Eastern Europe.
