ECNL and its local partner the Civil Society Development Foundation Romania hosted a one day event “The role of the non-governmental organizations in the social economy - Romania in European context”.
The event aimed to
- provide information on current issues regarding social economy in Europe, as well as the latest developments in Romania;
- identify key issues in the legislative and policy framework in Romania;
- share experience of other member states;
- promote the role of CSOs in the various aspects of social economy and help build their capacity in that role; and
- identify opportunities and next steps for key actors to advance these issues.
The event was organized in Bucharest on June 26. ECNL’s representative, Nilda Bullain presented the recent evolutions and practices of involving European CSOs in the social economy.
