On July 13, the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) held a public hearing jointly with the Committee on Development on the issue of shrinking space for civil society. ECNL’s Executive Director, Ms Katerina Hadzi-Miceva Evans was one of the speakers.
In her intervention, Ms Hadzi-Miceva Evans pointed out that persistent, consistent and coherent support is needed to have long-term results that can counter negative and systematic trends. You can watch the recorded video of the event here.
