The finalized Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development Regional Report 2015 was presented at an event targeting the EU institutions in Brussels and aimed to discuss how the EU can promote a stronger and more empowered civil society and better legal environment.
The 2015 Report analyzes the state of civil society in Balkan countries and Turkey; it finds that in general the situation remains the same, there is a continuous need for better regulation and proper implementation of the legal guarantees regarding association, assembly, participation and financial sustainability.
