ECNL successfully supported the Macedonian Government and civil society to agree on and adopt a Strategy for Collaboration of the Government with Civil Society (2012-2017).
We also provided training and supported the Government Office for NGOs to develop documents that will ensure monitoring of the implementation of the Strategy and coordinated planning of future activities. The development of the Strategy, the Action Plan and its implementation is supported by the project “Technical assistance to the Unit for cooperation with NGOs in the General Secretariat” funded by the European Union. ECNL has provided its expertise and continues to support local partners to develop and implement such documents in country as diverse as Montenegro, Latvia, Moldova and in Iraq.
