The amendments seek to clarify conditions under which NGOs may engage directly in economic activities
On July 12, 2005, in Podgorica, the Center for the Development of Non-Governmental Organizations and the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ECNL), hosted a round table on the amendments to the NGO Law, which the working group commissioned by the Ministry of Finance prepared. Representatives of NGOs as well as government officials participated in the round table, which generated lively and productive discussion. Following the round table, the working group has prepared revised amendments to the NGO Law, which will be circulated among key stakeholders for their input.
ECNL is a primary technical adviser on this project, which is being funded by ORT.
