Summary of how participation in decision-making processes, specifically drafting laws and regulations on governmental level, is regulated.
The paper aims to help Macedonians benchmark the legal framework and practices against European models, and identify what elements of those models may be relevant for their context.
The comparative overview complements the analysis of the laws and practices for participation in Macedonia, and presents models for participation as well as recommendations for improvement of the legal system.
The paper was developed under a framework project supported by OSCE Macedonia and the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), to support the development of participatory and transparent law-making process.
