RA Government approved the amendment to the Charter of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs that officially defines and strengthens the cooperation between Ministry and Armenian CSOs. The newly amended Charter provision of the Ministry provides: “Provision of relevant necessary information to the Non-Governmental organizations acting in the territory of Armenia within the cooperation frameworks, implementation of joints projects and events, involvement of representatives of Armenian CSOs into the policy and strategy making processes on need bases."
The amendment of the Charter is an important development as it sets the ground for the adoption of the Code of Consultation and Cooperation of the Ministry. The development of the Code is led by the Ministry of Labor in cooperation with ECNL’s local partner the Professionals for Civil Society NGO.
