The event gathered prominent CSO experts to explore European cooperation practices, policies and experience.
ECNL's partner, the Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TUSEV) organized an international conference in Istanbul on the topic of civil society-public sector cooperation.
Ms Katerina Hadzi-Miceva-Evans, ECNL's Executive Director participated at the event and spoke at the panel that sought to explore why dialogue and cooperation are essential elements of participatory democracies. She shared practical examples from countries in Europe and spoke about policy issues that should be considered to strengthen partnership and cooperation.
ECNL is also currently working on a project with TUSEV to support reform of the law on associations and development of code for participation, supported by SIDA under the Civic Space Initiative project led by ICNL.
