The Strategy defines the Government commitment to foster development and cooperation in several fields.
The Croatian Government adopted a Strategy for Creation of an Enabling Environment for Development of Civil Society and Operational Plan (2007-2011) to implement the Strategy. The Strategy defines the Government commitment to foster development and cooperation in several fields, including:
- participation of citizens in policy-making,
- legal framework for civil society,
- institutional framework for development of civil society,
- financing of CSOs,
- development of philanthropy, volunteering and foundations,
- development of civil society in regional and international context.
The Operational Plan defines concrete activities and legislation which needs to be adopted, with precisely defined time-framework and organizations responsible for implementation of individual activities.
