On June 8-9, 2006, the British Council hosted two public forum events, in Istanbul and Ankara, respectively, as part of the EU-funded project "Technical Assistance in Improving Cooperation between NGOs and the Public Sector and Strengthening the NGOs' Democratic Participation Level".
ECNL and its partner TUSEV presented their jointly prepared Assessment of the Legal Framework for Cooperation Between CSOs and the Government in Turkey and facilitated discussion on the results with government and CSO representatives who participated at the events.
