ECNL supported its Armenian partner PFCS NGO to develop and launch a Participation and Consultation website in order to contribute towards establishment of a consistent dialogue and create opportunities for cooperation between the government and NGO sector in of Armenia and involvement of the public in policy and law making processes.
In particular, the web page aims to:
- Facilitate information sharing between government bodies and NPOs about different policy and law making initiatives
- Provide information on recent government's policy initiatives. Encourage Armenian NGOs to submit their feedback to governmental initiatives which concern their work.
- Provide contacts of the key ministries for NGOs' reference.
- Make available information about existing NGOs in the republic.
This webpage was launched within the framework of the "Strengthening the Legal Framework for Citizen Action through Freedom of Association" supported by the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).
