The Assembly focused on government-civil society sector coopeartion as well as the role of the CSO sector in the Euro-integration processes.
The Federation of NGOs in Serbia (FENS) organized its 6th Assembly, held on 17-18 October in Belgrade, Serbia. The newly adopted Law on Associations and the Guide for its implementation was also presented at the event. The Law on Associations, adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, came into force on 22th July 2009. Its implementation will start on 22th October 2009. ECNL participated at the event. Dr. Golubovic was a member of the Ministry of State Administration and Local-Self Government’s working group which was commissioned with preparing the Law, and is one of the authors of the Guide.
