ECNL reflected on the need and place for formally registered associations in the future.
The Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe organized a Civil Society Forum that took place in Bratislava, Slovakia between September 16-18. The Forum was designed to encourage discussion, reflection and diagnosis, as well as exhibit exciting new ways, ideas and energy to drive forward the CSO sector within CEE societies. Ms. Nilda Bullain from ECNL contributed to the session "Harnessed and Unharnessed Energies" that explored whether and to what extent the NGO model has fulfilled its intended mission – and what is the need and place for formally registered associations in the future.
