In the report, ECNL provided analysis of other legal acts on national and local level that affect the partnerships between the two sectors.
ECNL completed the comparative analysis of the general legal framework for CSOs in Turkey with focus on its impact and potential for developing cross-sector partnerships. ECNL developed recommendations for legal reform affecting CSO/Government cooperation in line with EU standards and policies and which respond to the local circumstances. The analysis was developed in partnership with the Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TUSEV) and within the framework of a project designed to improve cooperation between CSOs and the Public Sector. The project is implemented by the British Council, with funding from the EU and is part of a wider Programme of work for strengthening Civil Society in Turkey.
