We are delighted to announce that the ECNL team will continue supporting the civil society and government of Moldova in improving the enabling environment for civil society work.
We are currently planning activities together with our partner FHI 360 under the new Moldova Civil Society Strengthening Program supported by USAID. Our previous USAID-funded program came to an end in August last year. Most notable successes of the program were:
- the adoption of the second strategy for cooperation between the government and CSOs,
- empowerment of civil society actors, and
- the preparation of two draft laws – on social entrepreneurship and percentage legislation.
