CSOs around the world have faced operational and legal restrictions due to counter-terrorism regulations and recommendations made by FATF.
CIVICUS spoke to representatives of the Nonprofit Platform on the FATF to find out more about how the work of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) affects CSOs and how CSOs can mitigate the unintended negative consequence. The Platform has been set up by a global civil society coalition, co-facilitated by ECNL, the European Foundation Centre (EFC), the Human Security Collective (HSC) and the Charity & Security Network (CSN).
