ECNL, The Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM) and the Center for Institutional Development (CIRa) held an informal meeting with the Macedonian journalists on the topic: “The legal framework on volunteering in Macedonia” on June 6, in Skopje. On this debate the aspects of the legal framework on volunteering in the country were explained by Katerina Hadzi – Miceva from ECNL, and Nikica Kusinikova from CIRa, who gave a comprehensive view of the process of preparing the proposal-law on volunteering, which is currently in Parliament procedure, as well as of the European and Macedonian experiences in this area.
This discussion was organized within the frames of the Civil Society Strengthening Project, financed by USAID, and implemented by the Institute for Sustainable Communities, in cooperation with the Center for Institutional Development, the European Center for Non-Profit Law, and the Macedonian Institute for Media.
