The Ministry of Culture has appointed a working group, composed of Ministry's officials, academics, civil society representatives, and legal practitioners, to prepare a new draft Law on Foundations.
Foundations in Serbia operate under the outdated Law of 1989, and the need to establish a new framework for foundations have long been recognized. ECNL's participation in the working group is funded through the Institute for Sustainable Community's project: Serbia Civil Society Advocacy Initiative.
