The first ever Regional Report analyzing the state of civil society in Balkan countries and Turkey based on the Monitoring Matrix methodology.

The report is based on information from the first year of in-country monitoring under the Monitoring Matrix project, and divided into three main areas:

basic legal guarantees of freedoms;
financial sustainability of CSOs; and
Government-CSO cooperation.
