Budapest international workshop on the opportunities of social enterprises

On March 19-20, the Hungarian Social Innovation Foundation organized the 4th Budapest International Workshop. The conference provided an opportunity for local stakeholders to learn about international best practices and to share their experiences on CSO-government cooperation with experts from other European countries.

With financial sources getting scarce, there has been an ongoing debate on how to strengthen the service provision capacities of CSOs. The conference looked at the concept of social enterprises as a possible alternative.
